I am so ready for winter to be over!! It will be wonderful to get back into the garden and start moving the soil around, there is hardly a sweeter smell to me then fresh turned soil!! As a way to ring in Spring I designed a few new logo ideas for Over the Rainbow and figured it would be much more FUN to get my fans involved too!

Exploding with Excitement!!

I have spent a lot of time recently thinking about my path, and the journey we are on with our darling son & daughter's health. I know usually I post about the most recent projects in my studio, but lately those pieces have had to take a back stage to my personal life. As mother's we wear so many hats, juggling kids extra curriculars, household chores, doctors appointments, extended family life that often we are left with very little at the end of the day for ourselves. That's just the way it goes! ...right??? And yet... I 'm always thinking about the instructions we get on an airplane.....NO not about the bag in front of you, should you feel the need to relieve your stomach! ;D

I am talking about the part where the stewardess reminds us....YOU MUST PUT YOUR MASK ON FIRST BEFORE YOUR CHILD'S BECAUSE WE ARE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO HELP THEM IF WE DON'T TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES!!

Profound..isn't it??? Shouldn't life be this way too? Recently I found a place that presented itself as if by devine intervention! I mean really!, it screamed me...from the colors of the website to the principles of using art to heal you and begin to live...TRULY LIVE ..again...happier, more at peace, embracing every little thing good and bad, trusting yourself that no matter what life will bring you.... YOU WILL BE JUST FINE!...in fact better then fine! I can't tell you how OVERJOYED I am to find this place! I am looking forward to starting a course on just the ideas I spoke of a minute ago, and I couldn't be more jazzed up to start!! It's like fireworks are exploding all around me!!

OH WHAT A JOURNEY!!

Wow...It's been a very long time since I last posted. I do apologize but my life has really been turned upside down since having my little boy. He is so precious!

He took a turn with his health and ended up hospitalized for several months while the doctors figured out what was wrong with him. Sadly he has the same lung disease and defect as his older sister. This was something the specialist didn't believe would be genetic but...sometimes doctors can be wrong. It's been a very interesting journey to say the very least...however the learning curve was short as we have been down this road before with oxygen tubes, feeding tubes, IV steroids, pokes and procedures.

As you can imagine, this has consumed my world for the past 6 months and we are nowhere near being out of the woods!

I am taking a few orders here and there and I have BIG PLANS for OVER THE RAINBOW!! So please bare with me as I make my way through this...say a few prayers for my son if you feel so inclined...it would mean so much to me! <3

I guess you could say I AM ON A SOUL RESTORATION! Ready for all the "new" to begin!

Well, it is getting closer to the arrival of our newest little one! Time has flew by... I can't believe it is almost here! There is so much to reflect on. There will be new challenges but I look forward to them all ;) Ya Right! We'll see if I say that at 2:07 am a few weeks from now!! I plan to take some time away from painting for the first little while & I know my time management skills will need some sharpening up.
