I need YOUR help!!!

Hello everyone,

Here's the deal.... I have all these various pieces of furniture sitting in my studio desperately awaiting face lifts. I am looking for feed back as to what to paint on them and or upholster them with. I have many ideas of my own but I have been noticing many of you visiting my blog lately and thought I would ask for your help as to what you and your kids are interested in.

I have desks, chairs and rockers of various sizes, wardrobes, lamps, shelves and so much more.

I will be posting pictures of some of these pieces in their present state of primer.

I hope some of you will leave a few comments..it would mean so much to me to hear your feedback,

The Makenzie Collection

I transformed this drab chandelier into a show stopper ..with enough "BLING" for any girl ..young or old. This one was created for a delightful pre-teen named Makenzie who loves purple.
Check back to see the rest of the pieces for her room real soon.

The Gracyn Collection

This light fixture is the first piece I re-finished for a sweet young lady named Gracyn. It has the colors of her room and is somewhat fitting to her request for a "disco-ball" ! :)

Well...the work is never done and I couldn't be more excited !! I am very much looking forward to having my booth in the Lil' Monster's Swap Meet in Spruce Grove at the Tri Leisure Center on Sat. Aug. 23 from 11-2

There will be much work to do to be ready for the sale but I am soooo pumped for it.

Gotta get back to it!! I will be posting photos as the pieces are completed for the sale.

Small Writing Desk in Popscicle Lime Green

This neat little desk has a flip down work surface.
There is a cubby area on the inside.
The small drawer has a knob to match the blue, white and green stripped top.
This desk would work well for boys or girls.

This fuchsia pink fabric caught my eye and I knew it would be perfect for the foot stool .
This message stand is a unique addition to any girl's room [young or not so young}
It features an upholstered message and memento area on one side,
and an upholstered area on the other side for all her accessories.

Night Table Before and After

Hawaiian Surf Print in Caymen Blue.
This tropical print is perfect for girls and boys from baby to teenager.

This great little night stand is perfect in any room. It stands 22" tall and is made of solid pine.
With a custom paint finish to compliment the room.
Add in the matching drawer knobs onto an existing dresser and they co-ordinate perfectly.

I think camouflage works great for boys and girls alike and can be mixed with other patterns and styles to change the feel. Below are examples of the patterns I'm working on. Some other Themes in the planning phase are....sports, surfing/skate and snowboarding, firefighter, diva girl, rockstar, fairies and dragonflies.......my mind's always going so this is just the tip of the iceberg...so stay tuned!
